Despite having tried the thin cut, testers were impressed with the thickness of this meat and praised its tender, juicy appearance. The steak has a tempting savoury aroma, with a touch of natural sweetness from the beef. The fat gives this rib-eye a buttery taste, which adds depth to its flavour. However, despite its 21-day maturation, the flavour of the meat isn’t as long-lasting as we'd like.
It does have the ideal bite though - not too chewy with a melt-in-your-mouth texture.
